Richard Taylor – Managing Director
RGS Investments Ltd was created in 1980 by Richard Smith, the then Managing Director. His aim was to provide a high quality sheet metal fabrication service to local companies in the Poole area.
In 2001 the company changed hands when Mr Bryan Taylor, who had been employed as General Manager took over as Managing Director with his son Richard Taylor the Operations Director.
Gradual expansion and increased business growth seen the company relocate to its present site in 1995.
In 2009 Richard Taylor took over as Managing Director and has continued to develop the business based on the company’s long held philosophy of providing High quality components in a timely manner at a competitive price, using a skilled and well-motivated workforce.
Since the founding of the company, RGS has grown from strength to strength. From small beginnings with a staff of 1, it now boasts a workforce in excess of 50. Whilst maintaining strong local roots, it now proudly boasts a national and international customer base, working in numerous sectors including the aviation, pharmaceutical, electronic, solar and food industries.
With an enthusiastic management team and committed workforce, we continue to build our business in support of our customer base, whilst looking for the opportunity to provide new sectors of industry with our high quality components.
